It has been the claim of the pheromones perfume makers that their perfumes work because they contain pheromones or chemicals that can control actions of humans. These may not have any solid ground when it comes to science because the tests conducted on each chemical used to prepare the perfume does not alone create any reaction in human test subjects. However, this does not mean that they do not work.
The idea behind these pheromones perfume is that they are made with the right mixture of chemical compounds with strong or subtle smells that when made right can actually soothe the individual and induce an attraction quotient because we humans are a sensory being guided by our senses. The nose is one of the strongest of all senses with regards to this fact. Hence, by bringing out smells that are deemed attractive by the opposite sex, the makers of perfumes can actually claim their perfumes to contain pheromones.
